G-SHOCK and Marcelo Burlon County of Milan join forces again to produce a new collaboration model, this time on a global scale: a special limited edition of the bestselling GA-100. One of the Japanese company’s best-known watches, the G-SHOCK continues to evolve and draw new aesthetic boundaries inspired by the creative talent of creative director Marcelo Burlon, with whom the company established a strong partnership in 2014.
The G-SHOCK “sheds its skin” and grows a new one like a snake, the symbol of County Of Milan and the concept inspiring the new model. Its scales form a Black&Grey texture 3D printed to create a “seamless” look, proceeding without interruption from the strap to the case to provide outstanding graphic continuity; a texture in exotic taste recalling Marcelo Burlon’s home country, Argentina, in a unique expression of both brands’ avant-garde streetwear spirit.
The bond is further strengthened by engraving the Marcelo Burlon County Of Milan logo on the case back and on the metal loop, also appearing on the outer packaging. The collaboration model will be released on 1 May in selected G-SHOCK and COUNTY OF MILAN stores at a price of 199 euro.
