Visiting Veuve Clicquot HQ

I just came back from an amazing press trip to Reims, in the Champagne area in France. Here lay the roots of one of the oldest and biggest champagne brands in the world: Veuve Clicquot. With a small group of press, we’ve visited the old wine cellars beneath the Veuve Clicquot HQ, which is 24 km big. Afterwards, we went to one of the houses of Madame Clicquot: Hotel du Marc. The hotel is not open for public, only for the lucky few who are somehow related to the brand. Such an amazing experience, just to be walking around at one of the oldest Champagne houses and learn how Madam Clicquot discovered the best techniques to create the freshest champagnes! With the nice weather and two Mini Coopers, it was like a mini road trip to France… Here are some images…
